A block of rooms is available for conference attendees. You may reserve a room at the Fess Parker Doubletree by clicking here or by contacting the hotel directly by phone at (805) 564-4333. Mention UC Language Consortium for discounted room rate. The cut-off date for the discounted room rate ($236 Single & Double/$246 Triple/$256 Quad) is Friday, April 4, 2008. After that time, room reservations will be based on availability. Please note that the rooms at the Doubletree are quite spacious and would easily accomodate participants sharing a room and include the use of all facilities on the premises.

UC Workshop, Sunday, April 27: The half-day post-conference workshop on "The Methodology of Task-based Teaching", led by Rod Ellis, University of Auckland.

FUNDING

The Consortium will provide Accommodation/Travel support up to $250 for University of California language faculty and graduate students only. Receipts required for reimbursement. Reimbursement information and instructions will be provided at the conference.

Additional funding is available to UC graduate students, lecturers and faculty on many UC campuses. Please check with your respective campus for additonal information.
